Job summary

CenterWell is seeking a Preceptor to train and mentor clinical support staff across multiple Orlando-area clinics. You will implement clinical workflows, validate competencies, and align with patient experience standards. Onsite, four days a week, with one day potentially at a corporate center.

You will partner with clinic leadership to ensure training goals and regulatory compliance, while maintaining documentation and fostering continuous learning within a patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Current Medical Assistant certification required.
• 3+ years of experience in a clinic or ambulatory care environment.
• Formal leadership experience is preferred; candidates with preceptor or peer-training experience may be considered.
• Experience using electronic medical records (EMR) and health information management (HIM) systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive onboarding and training for new staff, primarily Medical Assistants and Front Office associates.
• Serve as a professional role model by demonstrating organizational values, clinical competence, and customer service.
• Observe staff performance, deliver constructive feedback, and support ongoing skill development.
• Partner with leadership and education teams to maintain alignment with training goals and regulatory standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation of preceptorship activities, staff progress, and required training records.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning, quality improvement, and adherence to compliance, safety, and confidentiality standards.
