Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Preceptor to support training, onboarding, and mentoring clinical support staff across the Orlando market. You will guide clinical workflows, patient care standards, and regulatory compliance while partnering with clinic leadership.

The role emphasizes hands-on instruction for Medical Assistants and Front Office associates, with on-site work four days per week and a 40-hour schedule. Strong EMR/HIM skills and a patient-centered approach are required.

Qualifications

• Current Medical Assistant certification required.
• Formal leadership experience preferred; preceptor or peer-training background is a plus.
• Experience with EMR/HIM systems and strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Support training, onboarding and mentoring of clinical support staff.
• Develop and validate competency for new and existing staff.
• Collaborate with clinic leadership to ensure policy and quality alignment.
• Maintain documentation of training activities and staff progress.
