Job summary

Easterseals Northern California is seeking a Clinical Manager: Trainer to lead hands-on, clinic-based onboarding and ongoing staff training in the Dublin, CA region. You will support Behavioral Health services with direct supervision, reflective feedback, and implement BACB standards to promote quality care.

You will manage a small caseload, coordinate trainings, and collaborate with senior clinicians to ensure effective onboarding and adherence to funder requirements.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in ABA, psychology, or related field.
• Current BCBA certification or applicable clinical licensure in good standing.
• Licensed or certified for at least two years.
• Three years of experience in Behavioral Health services, preferably with autistic individuals or IDD.
• Two+ years of staff training, mentorship, or development experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide in person onboarding and role-specific training for BIs, Supervisors, and Clinical Managers in the assigned region.
• Document training attendance and support completion of first annual clinical competency checklists.
• Coordinate clinic-based shadow experiences and first-session support for new hires, including RBT activities.
• Coordinate Initial Competency Assessments with Clinical Manager and conduct role plays or skill assessments.
• Provide regional trainings and refreshers based on priorities, funding, and regulatory requirements.
• Respond to immediate clinic concerns and provide initial direction when needed.
• Maintain a small ongoing caseload with individualized treatment plans and care teams.
• Provide temporary coverage for clinic sessions to maintain continuity of care.
• Support center-based operations and ensure a safe, clean, treatment-ready clinic environment.
