Job summary

Brainlab in the United States (New Mexico) is seeking a field-based Support Specialist to conduct on-site evaluations and trainings for image-guided surgery products. You will lead installations, educate OR staff, and work with engineering to improve products.

You will also drive service contracts and parts sales while coordinating with the regional Account Manager. The role requires up to 50% regional travel and is based in NM or surrounding areas, with a competitive benefits package offered by

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Biomechanical Engineering, Biomedical Innovation, Bioengineering, Clinical Engineering, or Nursing.
• 6 months experience in a technical support role for a healthcare company or provider.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site clinical evaluations to demonstrate product use and increase IGS adoption.
• Provide on-site consulting to physicians and OR staff to maximize IGS efficiency.
• Lead installations and educate hospital personnel on IGS products and services.
• Collaborate with engineering to contribute to quality improvements.
• Maintain client relationships, explore service contracts and parts sales.
• Coordinate with Account Manager to identify opportunities and projects.
• Resolve product issues through analysis and engineering input.
• Promote surgery products at trade shows.
• Travel regionally up to 50%.
