Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is seeking a Civil Concrete Construction Coordinator to oversee onsite civil and concrete construction on a large mining EPCM project within the Earth & Environment team.

The role is full-time and onsite, with the site in Northern Nevada but can be based anywhere in the United States with a preference for Nevada, Utah, Alaska or nearby major mining projects. The Construction Coordinator/Superintendent will deliver safe, efficient civil, earthworks, and concrete scopes, ensuring

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, project management, or related field (or equivalent).
• 10+ years in large-scale heavy civil construction, concrete pours, or mining infrastructure.
• Hands-on construction mgmt in active mining settings; track multiple vendors.
• Commitment to safety; MSHA 48B Surface required.
• Experience with construction plans/specs and linking to scope/cost.
• Strong communication, problem solving, and decision-making with MS Office proficiency.
• Experience with EPCM or Mine Owner in similar role for at least 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide construction oversight for civil, earthworks and large concrete elements.
• Manage contractors and field teams focusing on safety, cost, schedule, and quality.
• Serve as interface between contractors, engineering, procurement, and project controls.
• Coordinate with design engineers and geotechnical teams on constructability and field modifications.
• Drive safety culture and ensure on-site health, safety, and environmental compliance.
• Support procurement and field implementation of key materials and systems.
