Concentra in Cedar Rapids, IA seeks an experienced Onsite Athletic Trainer for a PRN, on-site role at a client site. The CAT-O will support occupational medicine, injury prevention, and RTW workflows with direct collaboration alongside the client’s Health & Safety Leader.

The position emphasizes emergency response, work-related injury management, and health promotion within a collaborative patient-care team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in athletic training from an accredited AT program.
• NATA-BOC Athletic Trainer certification.
• Active and current license to practice in the state.
• First Aid and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer; Basic Life Support or equivalent.
• Demonstrated clinical competency.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic first aid and assess injuries per standing orders.
• Identify, evaluate and refer injured associates to clinicians for care.
• Respond to onsite medical emergencies following action plans.
• Assist in workers' compensation case coordination and return-to-work processes.
• Collaborate with HR and management on return-to-work capabilities.
• Track MSD-related statistics and assist in injury prevention activities.
• Coordinate injury prevention programs and ergonomic training/evaluation.
• Perform comprehensive ergonomic job analyses and risk factor identification.
