Job summary

Concentra, Inc in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking an experienced onsite Athletic Trainer for a PRN role at our client site. You will provide healthcare support during 8 AM-4 PM day shifts and possible evening/weekend coverage, delivering high-quality patient care in an occupational medicine setting.

You will collaborate with Health and Safety leaders, coordinate return-to-work processes, and contribute to injury prevention programs while maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with state

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in athletic training from an accredited program.
• Current NATA Board of Certification Athletic Trainer certification.
• Active and current license to practice in the state of jurisdiction.
• Current First Aid and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer. Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic first aid and injury care per standing orders.
• Identify and refer injuries to clinicians for optimal care.
• Respond to onsite medical emergencies per protocol.
• Assist in Workers' Compensation case management and RTW processes.
• Coordinate injury prevention programs and ergonomic training.
• Maintain accurate patient care records and reports.
