Job summary

Career Team is seeking an Adult and Dislocated Career Advisor/ Workforce Case Manager to provide career counseling and intensive case management onsite at the California location. You will support job seekers with intake, eligibility, and tailored employment plans while collaborating with community partners to drive outcomes.

The role requires strong communication, data entry proficiency, and the ability to work with diverse populations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher; 5+ years of operations experience.
• Strong communication skills and knowledge about community resources.
• Multilingual and bilingual preferred.
• Must be computer literate with MS Word and Excel skills and able to learn specialized databases and software systems.
• Ability to work with a culturally diverse customer base and motivate clients toward goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide information and case management services to the community
• Complete intake and eligibility determination for the workforce program
• Assess job seekers’ employment and training needs through interviewing, testing, and other methods
• Serve as a liaison between workforce development programs and community partners
• Enter data into and use client information systems and required databases
• Guide job seekers through the preparation of Individual Employment Plans (IEP)
• Counsel clients on available job opportunities and training programs
• Refer individuals to services and follow up on those activities
• Conduct orientation sessions, workshops, and group presentations
• Maintain compliant case files and eligibility documentation
• Develop comprehensive IEPs and track eligible customers into programs
• Meet/exceed program benchmarks and participate in staff events
• Complete all required reports
