Career Team is looking to hire a Career Advisor to provide career counseling, intensive case management, and follow-up services. Work is performed under the supervision of the WIOA Program Lead, with a focus on helping job seekers access resources and opportunities.

Responsibilities include intake, eligibility, assessing needs, and coordinating with partners. The role emphasizes data integrity, confidentiality, and meeting program benchmarks in Snohomish County, WA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong communication skills and knowledge about community resources.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities with the ability to make well-thought-out decisions.
• Must be computer literate with MS Word and Excel at minimum and able to learn specialized databases and software systems.
• Ability to work with a culturally diverse customer base and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide information and case management services to the community.
• Complete intake and eligibility determination for workforce programs.
• Assess career seekers’ employment, abilities, and training needs through interviewing, testing, and other methods.
• Serve as a liaison between workforce development programs and community partners.
• Enter data into and process participant information systems as required.
• Guide career seekers through IEPs based on occupational goals.
• Stay on top of labor market trends and best practices.
• Counsel career seekers on job opportunities, training programs, and other services.
• Refer individuals to appropriate services and follow up.
