Job summary

English Mountain Recovery in Sevierville, Tennessee is seeking a Business Development Representative to grow the facility’s lines of service by cultivating referrals from professional sources. You will host the public and represent the facility, developing and retaining partnerships with physicians, social workers, discharge planners, and other referral sources.

This on-site role requires a high school diploma (or higher), with preference for an associate or bachelor’s in Business, Behavioral

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Behavioral Health, Marketing, or related field preferred.
• Two or more years’ related experience in healthcare business development and marketing role preferred.
• Good understanding of the local market and referral base.
• Organized with strong relational skills and multitasking ability.
• Must be able and willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, early mornings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements business development programs in consultation with the Director of Business Development.
• Maintains a schedule of primary sources including business, industry, EAPs, managed care, physicians, and allied health professionals.
• Documents every contact in the CRM system.
• Maintains account information and referral/admission records and statistics.
• Develops and maintains new account relationships and markets.
• Targets and creates strategies for increasing business in competitive markets.
• Expands referral sources with clinicians and discharge planners.
• Represents the facility at civic and professional functions and educates clients and referral sources about services.
• Manages leads and ensures efficient admissions process.
• Works with Admissions and discharge teams to generate referrals and educate staff.
• Keeps up-to-date on industry changes through ongoing education and community involvement.
