Job summary

Kokosing is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Pittsburgh office and support heavy highway and bridge construction onsite. You will plan, coordinate, and manage on-site engineering activities, ensuring conformance with project requirements, schedules, and safety standards.

The role requires a BS in Civil Engineering or Construction Management and 3+ years of relevant experience; bridge experience is a strong plus.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of construction engineering technology and standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, coordinate and manage onsite engineering activities for heavy highway and bridge projects.
• Ensure project engineering activities comply with contract requirements and support schedules.
• Prepare submittals, RFIs, and manage vendor/subcontractor coordination.
