Job summary

Kokosing on-site needs an experienced construction engineer to plan, develop, coordinate and manage onsite engineering activities for heavy highway and bridge projects. Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or Construction Management required; 4+ years in construction engineering; bridge experience a strong plus.

Responsibilities include coordinating project engineering staff, ensuring compliance with contract requirements, supporting schedules (Primavera P6), and managing submittals, RFIs, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management required.
• 4+ years of construction engineering experience.
• Bridge experience is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, coordinate, and manage onsite construction engineering activities for Heavy Highway and bridge projects.
• Manage project engineering and personnel functions, assignments, and administration.
• Ensure activities comply with contract requirements and support the construction schedule.
• Provide technical support for planning, design interpretation, and methods application.
• Develop and administer project engineering procedures and documents (submittals, RFIs, expediting, payments).
• Represent company in meetings with A/E, client and project management.
• Interface on-site departments to resolve problems and support schedule.
• Oversee pre-construction and design-build services and business development.
