Boston Beer Company is seeking a motivated Co-op to join the Brewing and Innovation team at its Milton and Rehoboth sites. This 6-month, onsite program covers brewing operations, quality initiatives, and product development from concept to execution.

You will gain hands-on experience in brewing science, fermentation, packaging, sanitation, and process improvement while collaborating with brewers, quality and innovation teams.

Formación

• Pursuing a degree in Brewing Science, Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or related technical field.
• Must remain enrolled in school after co-op completion.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Understanding of brewery safety, PPE, chemical handling, GMPs, sanitation, and food safety principles.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently and in a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Interest in brewing, fermentation science, quality systems, and continuous improvement.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in daily brewing, cellar, and packaging operations across Milton and Rehoboth facilities.
• Support pilot brews, innovation trials, and experimental brewing projects.
• Participate in brewing activities supporting both commercial production and product development initiatives.
• Perform cleaning, sanitation, and CIP activities per brewery standards.
• Follow safety procedures, GMPs, and food safety requirements.
• Maintain accurate process records and documentation.
• Collect, compile, and analyze operational and quality data for continuous improvement.
• Assist with SOPs, cleaning procedures, and technical documentation.
