Job summary

Boston Beer Company is seeking a motivated co-op to join the Research & Development team at the Breinigsville Brewery. The program runs January 4, 2027, to June 25, 2027, fully onsite, five days a week, supporting laboratory operations, analytical testing, sensory science, and product development.

You will work with Laboratory Operations and Product Developers to assist with daily lab activities, instrument calibration, sample preparation for sensory panels, and inventory management while

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in a Life Sciences field with lab coursework or research.
• Must remain enrolled in school during the co-op term.
• Basic chemistry or life sciences lab experience through coursework or prior work.

Responsibilities

• Laboratory Operations: calibrate instruments and perform beer analysis for daily lab operations.
• Sensory Panel Support: blend and prepare samples for daily sensory evaluation panels.
• Inventory & Laboratory Management: assist with weekly inventory audits and stock organization.
