Job summary

Republic Finance is offering a Branch Operations Intern program in Macon, GA. This 100% onsite internship provides hands-on exposure to loan processes, regulatory training, and day-to-day branch operations while aiming for possible full-time employment after graduation.

Ideal candidates are juniors or seniors majoring in Business or Finance, with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Expect 18–20 hours/week and licensing pathway opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be a Junior or Senior majoring in Business, Finance, or related field.
• Must have the ability to work a minimum of 18-20 hours per week.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Must meet standards for background, credit history and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Eligibility to meet insurance licensing requirements after background check.

Responsibilities

• Learn loan process and regulatory training through accelerated licensing.
• Assist in loan origination, processing, closings and funding activities.
• Work with Manager and Regional VP to understand promotional paths and career potential.
• Attend regional meetings to gain exposure to Branch Operations.
• Contribute to branch operations process improvement projects.
• Explore corporate roles where branch experience is valuable.
