Republic Finance in Eau Claire, WI seeks a Branch Operations Intern to learn the day-to-day functions of a financial branch and gain exposure to the broader organization. This 100% onsite internship offers hands-on experience in loan processes, customer service and operations, with the potential for full-time employment after program completion.

The role targets current juniors or seniors majoring in Business or Finance, who are enthusiastic, reliable, and eager to learn.

Qualifications

• Must be a Junior or Senior majoring in Business, Finance, or related field.
• Eager to learn, enthusiastic and reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Must be able to work 18–20 hours per week.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Criminal background, credit history checks and pre-employment drug screen required.
• Eligibility to meet insurance licensing requirements is required.

Responsibilities

• Learn daily branch operations and loan processes through hands-on tasks.
• Assist in loan origination, processing, closings and funding, including file preparation and auditing.
• Spend time with Manager and Regional VP to understand promotional path and career potential.
• Attend regional meetings/workshops to gain exposure to branch operations division.
• Support process improvement projects within Branch Operations and related departments.
• Learn about corporate roles where branch experience is valuable (Audit, Compliance, Training, Recruiting).
