Republic Finance in Independence, MO seeks an Internship in Branch Operations for current juniors or seniors studying business or finance. You will learn branch functions, customer service approaches, and loan processes while gaining exposure to leadership and company initiatives.

You will participate in on-the-job training, licensing prep for insurance products, and a path toward a full-time role after graduation. This 100% onsite program offers hands-on experience and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be a Junior or Senior majoring in Business, Finance, or related field.
• Eager to learn, enthusiastic, and reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work a minimum of 18-20 hours per week.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Must meet our acceptable standards for criminal background history, credit history and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Ability to meet the eligibility requirements for insurance licensing in order to sell voluntary insurance products.

Responsabilités

• Learn daily branch operations and the loan process.
• Assist in loan origination, processing, closings and funding including allocating files for doc prep; auditing closed files; prep files ready to fund.
• Spend time with Manager and Regional VP to understand promotional path and career potential.
• Attend regional meetings/workshops to gain exposure to the Branch Operations division.
• Learn about branch operations process improvement projects.
• Explore corporate roles where branch backgrounds are desired (Audit, Compliance, Training, Recruiting).
