Job summary

You will work as part of a team of 11, handling accessioning, QC, labeling, and client communications, with a strong emphasis on quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• 0–5 years of relevant biospecimen or lab support experience.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Clear, professional communication both verbal and written.
• Detail-oriented with high quality standards.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, and Google tools.

Responsibilities

• Sample Intake & Triage: Receive, open, and triage incoming sample shipments, directing them to testing locations.
• Accessioning & QC: Perform sample accessioning and quality control of demographic data entry.
• Client Communication: Serve as contact for clients regarding held or rejected samples.
• Labeling & Documentation: Execute labeling and final quality checks for accuracy.
• Pathology Support: Image stained slides and ensure deliverables meet timelines.
• Logistics Coordination: Manage internal and client requests, including global shipments.
• Operational Management: Oversee team inbox and track requests.
• Process Improvement: Lead improvement workstreams within BioSample Management Group.
• General Support: Perform additional duties as assigned.
