Job summary

Digital Prospectors seeks a Biospecimen Associate I to support the management of patient samples, handling intake, processing, and recording under supervision. You will ensure accurate data entry in the LIMS and proper sample preparation for testing.

Successful candidates communicate clearly, work independently yet contribute to team goals, and assist with non-testing duties as needed. The role may involve handling hazardous materials and requires attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a biomedical or related field is required.
• Strong communication and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Support sample intake, accessioning, and processing.
• Enter and verify data in LIMS.
• Prepare samples for testing and document transfers.
• Manage storage of plasma aliquots and blood specimens.
• Adhere to SOPs and assist with lab area upkeep.
• Collaborate with Clinical Operations and Client Services teams.
