Job summary

Birmingham-based BCInsourcing, a Lockton Company, seeks a Benefits Coordinator to support life-cycle benefits for the client’s HR department and employees. This role is office-based, building relationships with the client and handling a range of benefit services.

The position requires HR/Benefits experience, Excel proficiency, and familiarity with HRIS/CRM systems. duties include enrollment, billing, leaves, and communication with employees and carriers.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED and related work experience equivalency.
• Proven experience in HR/Benefits.
• Experience using HRIS payroll/benefit systems or CRM systems.
• Professional experience delivering client service under deadlines.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and follow processes.

Responsibilities

• Represent BCInsourcing as an ambassador to Children’s of Alabama and maintain rapport with clients and employees.
• Serve as liaison between HR, employees, BCInsourcing, and benefit carriers.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of employer-sponsored plans and make client recommendations.
• Provide benefit services including enrollment, leaves of absence, billing, and related tasks.
• Respond to benefits communications inbox or contact center while meeting quality standards.
• Investigate and resolve benefit-related issues including enrollment, deductions, and claims.
• Address employee and carrier inquiries promptly and accurately.
• Track employee services and client support in appropriate systems.
• Perform other duties as requested by BCInsourcing.
