Job summary

Brave seeks an Onsite Maintenance Engineer to oversee day-to-day operation, maintenance, and support of AV/UC systems in conference spaces in Indianapolis, IN. You will manage Cisco Call Manager and Synergy Sky, perform routine maintenance, and support new room build-outs.

The role requires hands-on AV/VTC expertise, strong troubleshooting, end-user training skills, and the ability to work onsite for a 3-year contract. Federal DoD AV/UC background is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Hands-on experience administering Cisco Call Manager (Cisco Unified Communications Manager)
• Demonstrated experience with Synergy Sky
• Strong AV/VTC systems experience, including hands-on hardware maintenance
• Experience with control systems and DSP configuration
• Experience supporting networked devices (routers, IP protocols)
• Ability to work full-time onsite in Indianapolis, IN
• Commit to a 3-year contract engagement
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and end-user training skills
• Willingness to obtain elevated system access and comply with security protocols for work in secure spaces
• Prior experience in a federal government or DoD AV/UC environment preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance checks on AV/VTC systems
• Administer updates to Cisco Unified Communications Manager and Synergy Sky servers to stay compliant with security standards
• Provide control system and DSP maintenance and minor configuration changes
• Provide field service support of networked devices
• Oversee day-to-day AV/UC operations and hardware maintenance
• Set up, support, and monitor video calls and events as needed
• Support new conference room build-outs and onboarding of new rooms
• Coordinate with contractors/manufacturers for field support as required
• Ensure safety and procedural guidelines are followed
• Document maintenance activities and maintain inventory logs
• Coordinate with Help Desk for collateral support and parts procurement
• Complete service tickets and maintain system readiness boards
• Coordinate outside rentals and staging for events
