Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking an experienced AV Onsite Service Technician to join at a customer site in Newport, Rhode Island. This role requires hands-on installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of professional audiovisual systems.

You will perform daily startup, diagnostics, and repair of AV equipment, support live events, video conferencing, and occasional small installations. Schedule features four 10-hour shifts with weekends.

Qualifications

Minimum 2+ years of hands-on commercial AV installation and maintenance experience.
Ability to diagnose and repair sophisticated AV systems including audio, video, projection and show control.
Willingness to assist with live events, client training, and small installations.

Responsibilities

Perform daily AV system start-ups and preventive maintenance.
Diagnose faults and repair AV equipment.
Operate and maintain professional audio, video, projection, show control, interactive and display systems.
Troubleshoot signal flow and connectivity issues.
Support live events and video conferencing.
Assist with small AV installations and system modifications.
Coordinate with manufacturers and vendors when needed.
Follow SOPs and safety requirements.
