Job summary

AVI-SPL is seeking an Onsite Maintenance Technician to partner with customers and teams to deliver world-class on-site AV support at customer sites, ensuring reliable operation of audio and video systems. The role involves preventive maintenance, equipment testing, and hands-on setup for events under the AVI-SPL banner.

You will work with Logitech, Extron, Crestron, Q-SYS, and Cisco/Webex platforms, travel to job sites, and uphold safety standards while providing top-tier customer service and

Qualifications

• Effective communication with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
• Willingness to work after hours and weekends.
• Advanced computer knowledge (Windows/Mac).
• Knowledge of AV signal flow and control systems.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down conference spaces to meet event needs.
• Perform preventative maintenance on AV equipment and test hardware.
• Clean camera lenses, monitors, and equipment fans.
• Document on-site work and provide client training on AV tech as needed.
• Support meetings, install non-complex AV components, and assist with video/audio recording.
