Job summary

AVI-SPL, Inc. is seeking an Onsite Maintenance Technician to deliver world-class customer service at client sites in the Tennessee region. The role collaborates with customers, the Global Helpdesk, and SIG teams to maintain and support AV systems.

Key responsibilities include setup/breakdown of conference spaces, preventive maintenance, equipment cleaning, client training, and timely support tasks. Travel to multiple job sites will be required; safety standards must be followed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 12 years of audiovisual integration experience preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
• Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
• Basic computer skills and understanding of audio/video signal flow.
• Familiarity with safety standards on job sites.

Responsibilities

• Setup and breakdown of conference spaces to meet customer event needs.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure technology works as designed and repair components as needed.
• Clean AV equipment including lenses, monitors and fans.
• Provide client training on AV technology.
• Support tasks including installation of non-complex AV components and video/audio recording where applicable.
• Travel to various job sites and collaborate with internal/external teams.
