Job summary

Daimler Truck North America is seeking a Technical Support Specialist I to deliver technical service support to customers and dealer staff. The role interfaces with customers to resolve field issues and applies our warranty processes.

You will help develop service bulletins, review technical content, and support multiple model lines. Ideal candidates have automotive technical knowledge, strong communication, and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience in conflict resolution.
• Experience with automotive or heavy-duty vehicle electrical systems and controls.
• Strong teamwork and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain service records with proper documentation of problems and warranty actions.
• Assist in development of service bulletins, campaigns, and updates.
• Review technical content for manuals and literature.
• Provide service for FCA/DTNA model lines and related vehicles.
• Participate in continuous improvement of call center processes.
• Be available for 24/7 call center coverage including some holidays.
