Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, a leader in aerospace technology, seeks an onsite Controls Engineer to execute and validate centralized OT controls hardware and software. Responsibilities include developing standard practices, improving control specifications, and aligning with Pratt & Whitney automation goals at multiple sites.

You will design OT network architecture, assist with PLC programming, Ignition scripting, and SDN requirements, and ensure robust documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering; 5+ years in automated manufacturing.
• US citizen and ability to obtain US Government Secret Clearance.
• Excellent judgment and professional maturity; clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Execute and validate centralized OT controls hardware and software for Pratt & Whitney.
• Develop standard practices and align with automation goals.
• Design OT network architecture and maintain documentation.
• Create and validate PLC programming, Ignition scripting and SDN requirements.
• Travel up to 50% as needed.
