Job summary

Concentra is seeking a Part-Time Onsite Athletic Trainer to support an on-site clinic at our client's Amana, IA location. The role includes applying clinical skills across injury care, prevention, and return-to-work planning, with scheduled shifts across three days weekly.

The CAT-O collaborates with client safety and HR teams to promote health, reduce injuries, and ensure compliant care delivery while maintaining confidentiality and HIPAA standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in athletic training from an accredited program.
• Current NATA-BOC Athletic Trainer certification.
• Active and current license to practice in the applicable state.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid and basic care for musculoskeletal injuries and illnesses.
• Coordinate with healthcare clinicians for return-to-work and RTW documentation.
• Respond to onsite medical emergencies following standing orders.
• Assist with injury prevention programs and ergonomic training.
• Manage workers’ compensation case coordination and claim follow-up.
• Maintain patient care records and prepare weekly/monthly reports.
