Job summary

Concentra is seeking a passionate Athletic Trainer for a part-time onsite clinic in Fletcher, NC. The role is 2 days per week with 6-8 hour shifts between 9am-4pm, offering the opportunity to contribute to employee health and safety.

The CAT-Onsite focuses on injury prevention, workers’ compensation coordination, and return-to-work programs, collaborating with the Health and Safety Leader to promote a healthier workforce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in athletic training from an accredited program.
• Current NATA BOC Athletic Trainer certification.
• Active and current license to practice in the state of jurisdiction, if applicable.
• Current First Aid and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer; Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic first aid treatment for injuries and illnesses per standing orders.
• Identify and refer injured associates to appropriate clinicians for care.
• Respond to onsite medical emergencies following action plans and standing orders.
• Assist in managing Workers' Compensation cases through claim capture and follow-up.
• Collaborate with HR and management on return-to-work job placement and track MSD-related statistics.
