Job summary

Concentra is seeking an experienced Onsite Athletic Trainer for a full-time, onsite position at our client's site in Chaska, MN. Schedule includes early morning shifts Monday through Friday and a competitive salary range.

The CAT-O will promote health, manage injuries, and coordinate workers' compensation, with a focus on preventing injuries and ensuring safe return to work. Benefits include PTO, medical plans, retirement options, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in athletic training from an accredited program.
• Current NATA BOC Athletic Trainer certification.
• Active and current license to practice in the applicable state.
• Current First Aid and CPR/AED certification; BLS or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic first aid treatment for musculoskeletal injuries and assess function.
• Identify, evaluate and refer injured associates to clinicians for best care.
• Follow standing orders to respond to onsite medical emergencies.
• Assist in managing Workers' Compensation cases and claim follow-up.
• Collaborate with HR on return-to-work placement and track MSD statistics.
• Coordinate injury prevention programs and ergonomic training.
• Perform ergonomic job analyses and recommend workplace improvements.
• Develop pre-shift preventive activities and monitor compliance.
• Document patient care, prepare reports, budgets and outcome tools.
• Attend meetings and contribute to company newsletters as requested.
