Job summary

Concentra is seeking an Onsite Athletic Trainer in Burleson, TX for a part-time role. The CAT-O will promote health, reduce work-related injuries, and support return-to-work processes within an occupational medicine program.

Responsibilities include injury prevention, pre-employment testing, ergonomic training, and collaboration with client HR to ensure safe and efficient workflows. Strong clinical competency and HIPAA-compliant documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in athletic training from an accredited program.
• Current NATA BOC Athletic Trainer certification.
• Active license to practice in the applicable state.
• First Aid and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid for musculoskeletal injuries and assess ROM, strength, reflexes and function.
• Identify and refer injured associates for appropriate care.
• Respond to onsite medical emergencies following standing orders.
• Support Workers' Compensation case management and RTW planning.
• Collaborate with client HR for return-to-work and track injury data.
• Coordinate pre-employment testing and ergonomic assessments.
