Job summary

Concentra, Inc. in Texas is seeking an Onsite Athletic Trainer (CAT-O) to promote health and wellbeing for an occupational medicine client at the Taylor, TX onsite location.

This role supports return-to-work, injury prevention, and workers' compensation coordination. You will work with client teams, perform ergonomic assessments, conduct pre-employment testing, manage injury care, and provide data for rehab utilization and cost savings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in athletic training from an accredited program.
• Current NATA BOC Athletic Trainer certification.
• Active license to practice in the state, if applicable.
• First Aid and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer; BLS or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic first aid treatment for injuries and illnesses per standing orders.
• Identify, evaluate and refer injured associates to clinicians for best care.
• Respond to onsite medical emergencies following action plans and orders.
• Assist in managing Workers' Compensation cases and returns-to-work.
• Collaborate with client HR on RTW job placement and rehab tracking.
