Job summary

Concentra is seeking an Onsite Athletic Trainer to support a client-based occupational medicine program in Taylor, Texas. The role focuses on delivering exceptional patient care, injury prevention, and return-to-work coordination.

The CAT-O works with the client’s Health and Safety Leader to promote a healthier workforce, handle workers’ compensation, and provide data-driven rehab and reporting. Flexible 16-hour weekly schedule is required at an onsite location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in athletic training from an accredited program.
• NATA BOC Athletic Trainer certification.
• Active and current license to practice in the applicable state.
• Current First Aid and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer.
• Knowledge of kinesiology or ergonomic assessments.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid and assess injuries per standing orders.
• Refer injured workers to appropriate clinicians for care.
• Coordinate with safety and HR on return-to-work programs.
• Manage Workers' Compensation case processes and documentation.
• Develop and monitor injury prevention and ergonomic training.
