Job summary

Concentra is seeking an experienced Athletic Trainer for a full-time onsite role at our Newark, NJ client site. The position offers a Monday-Thursday schedule, 9 AM–7 PM, with a salary range of $62,000 to $74,500 and comprehensive benefits.

You will work within an onsite clinic providing injury prevention, treatment, and return-to-work coordination, supporting workers' compensation processes, and collaborating with client HR and safety teams to promote workforce health.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in athletic training from an accredited program.
• Current NATA BOC Athletic Trainer certification.
• Active and current state license if applicable.
• Current First Aid and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer.
• Knowledge of kinesiology or ergonomic assessments.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic first aid treatment for musculoskeletal and non-musculoskeletal injuries.
• Identify and refer injured associates to clinicians for best care.
• Respond to onsite medical emergencies per standing orders.
• Assist in managing Workers' Compensation cases.
• Collaborate with HR on return-to-work placements.
• Coordinate injury prevention programs and ergonomic training.
• Develop pre-shift preventive activity programs and monitor compliance.
