Job summary

Concentra, Inc is seeking an Onsite Athletic Trainer to support an occupational medicine program in Pittsburgh. The CAT-O will deliver high-quality patient care, reduce work-related injuries, and coordinate care with client leadership and clinicians.

The role requires a Bachelor's in athletic training, current NATA BOC certification, active state licensure, and strong ergonomic/assessment skills. Excellent communication, documentation, and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in athletic training from an accredited program.
• Current NATA BOC Athletic Trainer certification.
• Active and current state license if applicable.
• First Aid/CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer. Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers or equivalent.
• Knowledge of kinesiology or ergonomic assessments.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic first aid and evaluate injuries per standing orders.
• Refer injured associates to clinicians for best care.
• Respond to onsite medical emergencies per protocol.
• Assist in Workers' Compensation case management and RTW placement.
• Coordinate with client HR and safety teams on return-to-work plans.
• Create and monitor ergonomic reviews, job analyses and training programs.
• Document patient care and maintain records and reports.
