Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Science and Management.
• 5+ years of heavy highway experience; 2+ years of progressive project management preferred.
• Professional Engineering registration (civil) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Planning & Scheduling: Develop and adjust project plans, staffing, equipment, and timelines.
• Project Coordination: Lead on-site meetings, ensure timely document submissions and scope alignment.
• Staffing & Leadership: Staff project, supervise engineers, mentor juniors, enforce policies.
• Contract & Financial Oversight: Understand contracts, review invoices, payments, cost reports.
• Cost Control: Monitor budget, adjust methods, document change orders and claims.
• Subcontractor & Vendor Management: Oversee subcontractors, ensure timely payments and disputes resolution.
• Documentation: Maintain daily reports, logs, photos, and minutes.
• Client Relations: Maintain professional relationships and negotiations.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce OSHA standards and a safe work environment.
