Job summary

RPM Living is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Manager to maintain community value and assume Maintenance Manager duties when unavailable. The role requires responding to emergencies, completing tasks within 24–48 hours, and coordinating with residents and teams.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of multifamily maintenance experience, plus EPA certification. On-site work with a focus on safety and teamwork is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• One year of multifamily maintenance experience and/or training
• EPA certification required
• CPO preferred
• Basic skills in Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and respond to emergency on-call and after-hours maintenance
• Close work orders within 24-48 hours and update records
• Document maintenance activities and communicate with residents and staff
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, flooring and other systems
• Perform sheetrock repairs and maintain property aesthetics
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and safety laws
• Collaborate with maintenance team and contractors
• Conduct preventive maintenance to avoid issues
• Assess property safety and cleanliness standards
• Report supply needs and maintain shop organization
• Cover Maintenance Manager duties in their absence
