Job summary

Loveland Excavating is seeking an Asphalt Superintendent to oversee asphalt projects on site, coordinating with the Project Manager and customer to meet timelines and budgets. You will lead field crews, ensure safety compliance, and deliver high-quality results.

The role requires hands-on supervision, scheduling, and communication to keep work progressing smoothly, with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction. This is a on-site, field-based leadership position.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising asphalt or road construction projects.
• Strong leadership and communication skills for field crews.
• Ability to manage safety, quality, and budget constraints.

Responsibilities

• Oversee asphalt jobs and crews onsite, aligned with PM and customer.
• Enforce OSHA safety policies and daily toolbox talks.
• Review look-ahead schedules and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Coordinate trucking, equipment, and material needs with PM.
• Ensure work is on time and within budget; address variances with PM.
