Job summary

Loveland Excavating & Paving is seeking an Asphalt Superintendent to oversee asphalt projects and crews on site. You will work with the Project Manager and customers to organize jobs, maintain timelines and budgets, manage field personnel, and deliver a first-class product.

You will lead daily field operations, conduct safety meetings, enforce OSHA regulations, coordinate trucks and equipment, and ensure quality work from start to finish.

Qualifications

• Experience leading construction crews on asphalt projects.
• Proven ability to enforce safety protocols OSHA-compliant.
• Strong communication with PMs, clients, and field staff.

Responsibilities

• Be on site at start time and lead crews.
• Direct production goals within project budget.
• Review project scope, materials, time and equipment with PM.
• Conduct daily safety briefings and maintain attendance records.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and PPE requirements.
• Coordinate trucks, equipment, and materials with PM.
• Monitor progress and adapt schedules to meet deadlines.
• Report budget or timeline risks to PM and HR.
