Aston Carter in Stony Point, NY, seeks an Accounts Payable Specialist to manage vendor invoices, ensure timely payments, and support month-end activities. The role collaborates with Finance and Procurement to resolve discrepancies and improve controls.

The candidate should have 4+ years in AP, expertise in ERP systems, and strong Excel skills, with a degree in Accounting or Finance. This is a contract-to-hire, onsite role with a Monday–Thursday and Friday schedule.

Formación

• 4+ years accounts payable experience and strong invoice processing knowledge.
• Experience with vendor invoices, three-way matching, and month-end close tasks.
• Proficient in ERP systems and Excel (pivot tables) for reporting.

Responsabilidades

• Process high volume vendor invoices with accurate coding and approvals.
• Validate invoice details, terms, taxes and supporting documents.
• Perform invoice matching and resolve discrepancies with internal teams.
• Process payments via ACH, checks and wires; maintain vendor records.
• Support reconciliations, accruals and month-end close activities.
