Qualifications

• Strong understanding of AI systems architecture integrating models, orchestration, data storage, and agents.
• Hands-on experience building AI agents and automations in production.
• Proficient Python and API development; using AI tools to accelerate coding.
• Experience with Make.com, n8n, Zapier or similar automation platforms.
• Self-directed with end-to-end ownership and minimal oversight.
• Excellent communication translating technical work for non-technical leaders.

Responsibilities

• Own the AI roadmap and architecture end to end.
• Identify high-leverage AI use cases across departments.
• Define what current AI tools enable and plan projects.
• Design and maintain the core AI architecture and data flow.
• Determine data storage and integration with ERP, CRM, WMS.
• Evaluate orchestration layers and tools like Make.com vs alternatives.
• Build and maintain AI agents to automate workflows (quoting, service, procurement).
• Pair large language models with orchestration tools to run production-grade agents.
• Write production code using Python and APIs; leverage AI coding tools.
• Build real applications and integrations where no-code tools fall short.
• Collaborate with leaders to surface automation opportunities.
• Train staff and drive adoption of AI tools across the org.
• Document architecture for future maintenance and extension.
• Maintain data integrity, security, and access across AI systems.
• Monitor and test agents to keep them reliable as business scales.
