Job summary

United Contractor Services seeks an Agentic AI Engineer to design, ship, and maintain production AI agents that automate business processes across units. You will work directly with the Director of Technology to turn problems into deployed solutions in a fast-moving, on-site environment in Kennesaw, GA.

You will build integrations with Microsoft Graph, Entra, SharePoint, Teams, and Procore, while establishing eval pipelines, security patterns, and governance across data and models.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 1 year shipping production AI/LLM systems
• Proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript
• Hands-on experience with major agent frameworks/SDKs such as Claude/OpenAI LangGraph or Azure AI Foundry
• Experience building and interpreting eval harnesses to measure agent performance
• Working knowledge of Microsoft cloud stack: Azure Functions, Microsoft Graph API, Entra ID, OAuth2, and managed identities
• Backend and integration engineering: REST APIs, webhooks, queues, state management, and authentication patterns
• Strong written communication and ability to explain trade-offs to leadership
• Comfortable working on-site in Kennesaw, GA

Responsibilities

• Design and build production agentic AI systems with tool calling, multi-step reasoning, and memory
• Identify high-value automation opportunities with business units and translate into shipped agents
• Build and maintain integrations across the Microsoft stack and third-party APIs
• Develop eval pipelines and observability for agents in production, including cost monitoring and regression testing
• Implement secure agent identity and authorization patterns and audit logging
• Establish AI governance standards across data handling, model selection, and version control
• Document architectures and decisions to ensure longevity of systems
• Stay current on agentic AI landscape and make pragmatic platform recommendations
