Job summary

Scale AI is seeking a highly skilled AI Data Engineer to join our Federal Engineering team in a role that blends hands-on data engineering with customer-facing work. The position requires building scalable data pipelines, integrating diverse data sources, and deploying solutions at customer sites while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role demands an active Secret clearance with willingness to obtain TS/SCI, and may involve >50% onsite work in secured spaces.

Qualifications

• Data Engineering: Knowledge of ETL processes and building data pipelines to integrate and process diverse data sources.
• Track record as a hybrid customer facing engineer or forward deployed software engineer.
• Proficiency in Python and cloud-native development.

Responsibilities

• Be open to >50% onsite work in a secured space.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute the data pipelines vision.
• Implement end-to-end data integrations and sync customer data to Scale’s platform.
• Deploy and maintain Scale software at customer sites.
• Develop customer-requested features and collaborate to win customer love.
• Build robust backend systems that can serve as standalone products for customers.
• Participate actively in customer engagements to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Must have an active Secret clearance and willingness to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
