Job summary

Scale AI, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled AI Data Engineer for the Federal Engineering team. You will scope and develop onsite solutions, enabling Scale’s platform to integrate with customer workflows in a secure environment.

The role requires collaborating with cross-functional teams, deploying software at customer sites, and delivering innovative data integrations while supporting government customers. A Secret clearance is required, with TS/SCI eligibility.

Qualifications

• Experience building data pipelines with ETL processes and data governance concepts.
• Proven track record as a hybrid customer-facing engineer or forward-deployed software engineer.
• Experience with Python development.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the data pipeline vision with cross-functional teams.
• Implement end-to-end data integrations syncing customer data to Scale's platform.
• Deploy and maintain Scale software at customer sites.
• Develop features in collaboration with customers to drive adoption.
• Build reliable backend systems to enable customer AI initiatives.
