Job summary

TSMC Arizona seeks an Onsite AI Automation & Agent Specialist (HR Systems) to modernize and automate HR workflows on the Phoenix campus. You will build secure AI agents for employee inquiries, onboarding, and training support, integrating with HRIS and enterprise tools while ensuring strict security and data privacy.

The role requires hands-on AI engineering, collaboration with IT and cybersecurity, and delivery of scalable, auditable workflows during a 12‑month term on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, HR, or a related technical field; equivalent hands-on experience will also be considered.
• 3+ years of experience in AI engineering, workflow automation, or enterprise-systems integration; onsite manufacturing/enterprise environment preferred.
• Proven experience building custom AI agents and working with LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.), prompt engineering, and vector databases or RAG systems.
• Hands-on experience with Agentic software-engineering tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, or GitHub Copilot Workspace).
• Mastery of integration and automation platforms such as Make.com, Zapier, or n8n; familiarity with HRIS (Workday, SAP SuccessFactors) and ATS.

Responsibilities

• AI Agent Development (HR): Design human-in-the-loop workflows in Agentic AI systems with human oversight.
• HR Workflow Automation: Map and optimize HR processes like onboarding, shift-rotation, and compliance training; connect HRIS with automation tools.
• Security, Compliance & Onsite Collaboration: Ensure data privacy, perform security testing, and document architecture; train HR staff for handoff.
