Job summary

TSMC Arizona, the most advanced semiconductor fab in the United States, seeks an AI Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with operations and translate complex fab needs into AI-powered solutions.

You will prototype with Generative AI, LLMs, RAG architectures, and low-code platforms, collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, and IT, and help productionize trusted prototypes at scale. On-site in Phoenix.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or 3+ years software development experience.
• Strong programming skills and experience applying AI in engineering contexts.
• Experience with Generative AI tools and APIs for building prototypes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and business units to understand daily operations and pain points.
• Design and rapidly build AI prototypes and PoCs using Generative AI and LLMs.
• Leverage low-code/no-code AI platforms and APIs to validate solutions with end-users.
• Conduct agile testing to ensure feasibility, accuracy, and business value.
• Partner with IT and MLOps to productionize prototypes into enterprise systems.
• Stay current with AI tooling and methodologies to accelerate prototyping.
• Maintain documentation and guides for validated prototypes.
