Job summary

TSMC Arizona, a leading semiconductor fab, seeks an Onsite AI Automation & Agent Specialist for a 12‑month fixed‑term contract at the Phoenix campus. You’ll build secure AI agents to support HR inquiries, onboarding, and training while ensuring human oversight and regulatory compliance.

You will automate HR workflows, integrate AI with HRIS and ERP systems, and collaborate with IT, cybersecurity, and data governance teams to deliver enterprise solutions within a fast‑paced manufacturing

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, HR, or a related technical field; equivalent hands‑on experience will also be considered.
3+ years of experience in AI engineering, workflow automation, or enterprise‑systems integration; onsite manufacturing/ high‑security env preferred.
Experience building custom AI agents, working with LLMs, prompt engineering, and vector DBs or RAG systems.
Proficiency with integration/automation platforms (Make.com, Zapier, n8n).
Python or JavaScript/TypeScript for writing APIs, data parsing, and integrations.
Familiarity with HRIS platforms (Workday, SAP SuccessFactors) and ATS.

Responsibilities

AI Agent Development: design HITL workflows so HR decisions have human approvers.
Train AI agents on internal HR docs, policies, benefits, and shift-work guidelines.
Integrate AI agents into Slack/Teams while complying with security policies.
HR Workflow Automation: map and optimize high‑volume onboarding, shift‑rotation, leave tracking, training.
Use Agentic tools to accelerate code generation, testing, and refactoring.
Connect HRIS with operational tools via Make.com, n8n, or Zapier.
Write custom scripts for data transformation, webhooks, and secure API calls.
Security, Compliance & Onsite Collaboration: work with IT/cybersecurity on data privacy.
