Job summary

Collins Aerospace, in collaboration with Pratt & Whitney Engine Systems, seeks an Engineer II at the West Palm Beach Center. You will bridge Collins hardware with PW engines, interfacing with production, test, and MRO to resolve complex ECS issues.

The role emphasizes on-site customer-facing technical support, data-driven problem solving, and coordination with global teams across multiple engine programs.

Qualifications

• Typically requires STEM degree and 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree, or 6 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Represent on-site engineering focal for Collins ECS hardware issues.
• Direct support for Power & Controls - ECS components through production, test and selloff.
• Support ECS components through MRO shop.
• Provide technical recommendations to global MRO network.
• Initiate quality/engineering improvements across MRO phases for GTF engines.
• Report component removal trends to IPT across disciplines.
• Provide evaluations and disposition for defective components.
• Drive quality improvements across engine programs (F135, PW1100).
• Recommend Collins hardware in the MRB process.
• Support urgent F135 requests across WPB and Middletown centers.
• Drive investigations during recalls and stop-delivery orders.
• Apply RTX CORE methods for non-quality investigations and RCCA.
• Provide status updates to CT program office and Winsor Locks team.
• Research supplier specs to approve or rework hardware.
