Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Windsor Locks, CT is seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance professional to join the Power and Controls team working on Pratt and Whitney Engine Systems programs. You will collaborate with global supply chains to uphold quality and engage executives and customers to report ongoing work and initiatives.

The role is hybrid, onsite 2–3 days weekly in Windsor Locks with some travel to Middletown. A strong background in QA processes and ability to influence standards is required.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Access).
• Experience with SAP.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer requirements and communicate those points to the supply chain.
• Understand objectives and procedures for initial development projects (APQP) and corporate quality initiatives (UPPAP and ZDP).
• Analyze and recommend QA plans, guidelines, policies, and processes to meet quality targets.
• Implement projects and processes to continuously improve overall quality.
• Provide production process analysis to ensure quality standards are met and recommend improvements.
• Collect and analyze quality information from multiple sources for QA strategy development.
• Review quality improvement processes to reduce COPQ and escapes.
