LHH Recruitment is partnering with a growing organization in East Phoenix to hire an Accounts Payable Manager. This on-site role oversees a five-person AP team, manages full-cycle AP, and administers Concur for expense workflows.

The candidate will drive process improvements in a fast-paced environment while ensuring accuracy and compliance. The role features a Monday-Friday on-site schedule with a compensation range of $85,000 to $95,000, DOE, and a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in accounting/finance/business admin or related field.
• Experience as AP Manager, Supervisor, or Team Lead with direct leadership responsibility.
• Experience managing a team of at least five employees.
• Strong knowledge of full-cycle AP and month-end close processes.
• Experience in high-volume AP environments.
• ERP system experience (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Workday or similar).
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines while maintaining accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop an AP team of at least five employees.
• Oversee full-cycle accounts payable, invoices and vendor payments.
• Set priorities, delegate workloads, and monitor productivity to meet deadlines.
• Review invoices, payments, vendor setups, and reconciliations.
• Oversee Concur Expense platform administration and reimbursement workflows.
• Support month-end close activities, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Resolve complex invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with policies, controls, and accounting standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve AP processes and efficiency.
• Monitore department metrics and report to leadership.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Operations and other departments.
• Assist with audits by providing documentation.
