Job summary

LHH Recruitment is partnering with a nonprofit organization near Central Phoenix to hire an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist for full-cycle AP. The role is onsite, with a Monday–Friday schedule and pay up to $55,000/year.

Ideal candidates manage high-volume invoices, perform three-way matching, and ensure accurate payments. Strong Excel and ERP proficiency, plus nonprofit experience, are valued assets for this position.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recent full cycle AP experience
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and an ERP
• Nonprofit or accounting experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Manage the full-cycle AP process from invoice receipt through payment.
• Review, code, and process invoices accurately and timely.
• Perform three-way matching and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and process checks, ACH, and other vendor payments.
• Reconcile vendor statements and maintain accurate AP records.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment issues.
• Assist with month-end close and AP reporting.
• Maintain organized documentation and support accounting team as needed.
